Land Rover's 60th anniversary celebrations in the UK began this week with a huge Land Rover show scheduled for this weekend at the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon, UK. This meet is expected to be a blast! You can read more about the schedule of activities and tickets at Heritage Land Rover weekend.
Land Rover North America will also have a 60th anniversary gathering at the annual 'Coffee and Cars Show' between 6:00 am and 9:00 am held at the Premier Automotive Group facility in Irvine, California this Saturday May 3rd - More Info. Additional enthusiast celebrations in North America are also scheduled for the Land Rover National Rally in September and the 2008 Land Rover Mid Atlantic Rally in early October.

Tata, Land Rover and Jaguars future parent, is said to be interested in acquiring a stake in the famous Italian styling firm Pininfarina and possibly a stake in Ferrari.
